Before she goes to Pilar's, Grace is able to calm Faith down by saying that Charity is fine at the Lopez-Fitzgerald home. After Grace arrives at Pilar's party, Sam tells her that he has to go to the Crane mansion to give Julian the Police Station's budget to look over.
