During Luis' training of the police recruits, Fancy begins to complain about what Luis wants to do, as Paloma tries to encourage her to work hard to impress her brother. At Crane Industries, Jared tells Chad about how he called things off with Theresa because of how she lied to him. At her office, Theresa tells Whitney she is swearing off men because of how Jared reacted to finding out who she is and goes to check on little Ethan. When Chad goes to her office, he soon proposes to Whitney. Running into Ethan on her way to the day care center, she tells him about what happened with Jared. At the Book Café, when Jared tells Gwen he broke up with Theresa, she becomes worried Theresa will go after Ethan again.
