Ep 4. The Break

In Pitch season 1 episode 4, titled "The Break," Ginny Baker's pitching game is off and her team, the San Diego Padres, are struggling to win. Ginny's personal life is also in turmoil as her brother comes to town and brings up painful memories from their childhood. In an effort to get her mind off her troubles, Ginny goes out for a night of clubbing with her teammate Blip and his wife. However, things quickly turn ugly when Ginny gets into a physical altercation with a bar patron. Meanwhile, Mike Lawson is dealing with his own personal issues as he tries to come to terms with his aging career and the possibility of being traded. As the Padres face off against the St. Louis Cardinals, the team rallies together to support Ginny and their own struggles. As the game comes down to the wire, Ginny must step up and face her fears if she wants to lead the Padres to victory.
