Portals to Hell season 2, episode 2, Fort William Henry, takes Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman to the historic site of Fort William Henry in Lake George, New York. The fort was a strategic location during the French and Indian War, and later became the site of a brutal massacre in 1757. Today, it is believed to be haunted by the spirits of soldiers and civilians who lost their lives there.

The episode starts with Jack and Katrina meeting with history expert Marv Smith, who provides them with a brief rundown of the fort's history. They learn that the fort was besieged by French troops in 1757, and after a weeklong siege, the British commander surrendered to the French. The French promised safe passage for the British soldiers and civilians, but upon their departure, the Native American allies of the French attacked and massacred many of them.

As Jack and Katrina explore the fort, they come across an interesting artifact - a small, wooden box that is said to have belonged to one of the soldiers stationed at the fort. Inside the box, they find a mysterious piece of paper with symbols that they can't decipher. This discovery leads them to investigate the possibility of the use of occult practices during the war.

The investigation takes them to a nearby museum, where they meet with a historian who tells them about a man named James Rumsey, an inventor who visited the fort during the war. Rumsey claimed to have invented a "mystery machine" that could harness the power of the occult to move boats and other objects. The machine was never built, but some people believe that Rumsey may have shared his knowledge with the British soldiers at Fort William Henry.

Back at the fort, Jack and Katrina have a nighttime investigation, using various methods to try and communicate with any spirits that may be present. They use an EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomenon) recorder, spirit box, and thermal imaging equipment to capture any evidence of paranormal activity. They also conduct a séance, attempting to connect with the spirits of the soldiers and civilians who lost their lives during the massacre.

Throughout the investigation, Jack and Katrina have several experiences that they can't explain. They hear unexplained noises, feel cold spots, and even see what appears to be a shadow figure. They analyze their evidence and find several intriguing EVPs and spirit box responses that suggest there may be intelligent spirits present at the fort.

The episode ends with Jack and Katrina discussing their findings and speculating on the possible use of the occult by either the British or the French during the war. They conclude that the spirits at Fort William Henry are likely a combination of soldiers who died during the siege and civilians who were massacred after the surrender. The mystery of the wooden box with the strange symbols remains unsolved, but Jack and Katrina feel that they have learned a great deal about the fort's haunted history.
