Portals to Hell is a unique paranormal investigation show that explores some of the most notoriously haunted locations across America. With their paranormal expertise and investigative techniques, Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman uncover the history, mythology, and spirits of each location, all in the pursuit of understanding the supernatural realm.

In season 2, episode 5, titled Thomas House Hotel, Jack and Katrina visit one of the most famously haunted hotels in the country, located in Red Boiling Springs, Tennessee. Once a bustling attraction for the wealthy elite in the early 1900s, the Thomas House Hotel has now become a hotbed of paranormal activity for guests and employees alike, with reports of unexplained noises, apparitions, and ghostly activity.

Upon arriving at the hotel, Jack and Katrina are immediately struck by its grandeur and eerie energy. As they begin their investigation, they learn that the hotel was once a popular spot for tourists seeking the healing powers of the local mineral springs, which were believed to cure a variety of ailments. But despite its popularity, the hotel has a dark history and has seen its fair share of tragedies, including a fire that claimed the lives of several guests.

As they explore the hotel's various rooms and hallways, Jack and Katrina use a variety of investigative techniques, including EVP (Electronic Voice Phenomena), spirit boxes, and thermal imaging cameras. They also enlist the help of a local medium who is able to connect with the spirits of the hotel.

Throughout the episode, Jack and Katrina encounter a variety of unexplained phenomena, from strange noises to ghostly apparitions. In one particularly chilling moment, they capture what appears to be a shadow figure on camera, moving through the hotel's dining room. As they continue their investigation, they also discover a hidden room that has not been opened in decades, and uncover clues that shed light on the hotel's mysterious past.
