Ep 5. Fort Mifflin

The episode titled "Fort Mifflin" from season 3 of "Portals to Hell" follows acclaimed paranormal investigators Jack Osbourne and Katrina Weidman as they explore one of the most historic and haunted locations in the United States: Fort Mifflin. One of the most interesting stories he shares is that of the "Screaming Woman," a ghostly figure who has been seen and heard throughout the fort by countless visitors and paranormal investigators alike.

As they begin their investigation, Jack and Katrina set up their equipment in various locations throughout the fort, including the Officer's Quarters, the Casemates, and the Powder Magazine. They use a myriad of tools, including electronic voice phenomena (EVP) recorders, thermal imaging cameras, and spirit boxes to try and capture evidence of the paranormal. Although they don't experience anything too out of the ordinary at first, things start to heat up as the night goes on.

During their investigation of the Officer's Quarters, Jack and Katrina both experience the sensation of something touching them. They also capture what appears to be the voice of a young girl on their EVP recordings, which they both agree is one of the most compelling pieces of evidence they've ever captured. In the Casemates, they hear strange noises and feel as though they're being followed by something unseen. And in the Powder Magazine, they capture an EVP that sounds like an older man saying "fire" - perhaps a nod to the many cannonballs that were stored there during the fort's use in the Revolutionary War.

Throughout the episode, Jack and Katrina also conduct some experiments to see if they can interact with the spirits haunting the fort. They try communicating with them through a Ouija board and also attempt to conjure up some energy using an old-fashioned seance. Although they don't experience anything too dramatic during these experiments, they do find that the spirits seem to be more active and willing to communicate as the night goes on.

Overall, "Fort Mifflin" is a fascinating episode of "Portals to Hell" that showcases one of the most haunted locations in America. Jack and Katrina are both engaging and knowledgeable hosts, and their investigations are always a thrill to watch.
