Ep 8. The Tom / Brady

In Preacher season 3 episode 8, entitled The Tom/Brady, the plot revolves around Jesse and Cassidy's attempts to stop the apocalypse. The episode takes place in a small town in Louisiana that is currently hosting a medieval reenactment festival. Jesse and Cassidy arrive in town to confront the Grail, but they quickly realize that they may need the help of a powerful ally. They seek out The Tom/Brady, a man with the power to manipulate minds, in order to gain his assistance in locating the Grail's stronghold.

Meanwhile, Tulip is still stuck in purgatory and must face her past in order to escape. She has a heated confrontation with her childhood friend, Dany, and discovers the true reason for her supernatural imprisonment. With the help of an unlikely ally, Tulip must make a tough decision in order to escape her purgatory prison.

Back in the real world, Herr Starr and Lara Featherstone are hot on Jesse and Cassidy's trail. They receive assistance from a local police department in their pursuit and begin closing in on the duo. However, they soon discover that The Tom/Brady may be their key to catching Jesse and Cassidy once and for all. The episode ends with a major twist that will have viewers on the edge of their seats.
