Ep 10. Gold Watch

Mordecai and Rigby become obsessed with getting gold watches after seeing a commercial for one on TV. They convince Benson to give them a raise to buy the watches, but soon realize they can't afford them.

Desperate to get the watches, they start taking on odd jobs around the park to make extra money. They do everything from mowing lawns to cleaning bathrooms, but nothing seems to be enough.

Meanwhile, Pops is trying to finish his latest novel, but he's struggling to come up with an ending. He turns to his friends for inspiration, but they're all too busy with their own problems to help him.

Frustrated, Pops takes a walk around the park to clear his head. Along the way, he stumbles upon an old arcade game that he used to love as a kid. He starts playing and soon gets lost in the game, forgetting all about his writing struggles.

Mordecai and Rigby eventually come up with a plan to get the money they need for the watches: they decide to enter a hot dog eating contest. They're confident they can win, but things don't go quite as planned.

Meanwhile, Pops is still playing the arcade game and is getting better and better. He eventually reaches the final level and beats the game, earning himself a prize: a gold watch.

As Mordecai and Rigby leave the hot dog eating contest, dejected and empty handed, they run into Pops wearing his new watch. They're envious and ask him where he got it. Pops proudly tells them about his arcade game victory, and they're inspired to keep trying.

In the end, Mordecai and Rigby team up with some of their friends and enter a talent show. They put on an amazing performance and win first place, earning them enough money to buy the watches they've been dreaming of.

The episode ends with the gang gathered around Pops, admiring his gold watch and congratulating Mordecai and Rigby on their victory. It's a happy, feel-good moment that shows that hard work and persistence pays off.
