Ep 1. Not Giving Up

In the premiere episode of Rescue Dog to Super Dog, titled "Not Giving Up," viewers are introduced to human-dog matchmaking duo, Nate Schoemer and Laura London, as they set out to transform the life of a woman named Tori and her service dog in training, Stump.

Tori, a veteran diagnosed with PTSD, is struggling with daily tasks and anxiety, and seeks the help of Nate and Laura to train her rescue dog, Stump, to become her full-time service dog. The tasks that Stump must learn to assist with include interrupting nightmares, grounding techniques for anxiety attacks, and performing deep pressure therapy.

Despite their consistent training, Stump becomes disengaged and begins to give up on certain tasks. Frustrated and feeling helpless, Tori worries that Stump might not be the right fit for her. Despite this, Nate and Laura continue to work with both Tori and Stump, never giving up hope that Stump could fully transform Tori's life.
