Yamagami’s skills and tenacity impress the team, and it seems he has finally found a new passion.

Back in the office, Asahina is trying to win over potential clients for Next Innovation, but he is struggling. He realizes he has been too focused on himself and his own interests, rather than thinking about the needs of his clients. Through Makoto's gentle guidance, Asahina finds a new appreciation for working with clients, and a new understanding of the importance of trust in business relationships.

As the episode comes to a close, Hyuga and Makoto are left wondering what to do with their newly remembered love for each other. They both know they have work to do to heal the wounds of their past relationship, but they can't deny the connection they feel.
