Ep 1. Pilot - See One, Do One, Teach One

Boston detective Jane Rizzoli is hard-working, methodical, and good at her job. She's also fiercely independent, holding her own in a male-dominated field. Dr. Maura Isles, on the other hand, is a brilliant medical examiner who approaches her work with a cool detachment and scientific rigor.

The two women couldn't be more different, but they're forced to work together when a serial killer starts targeting young women in Boston. Rizzoli is the lead detective on the case, but she tries to keep Isles at arm's length, preferring to work on her own.

That all changes when they both get caught up in a tense standoff in a local college. Rizzoli's partner, Detective Vince Korsak, is shot and Rizzoli is left to negotiate with the shooter while Isles tries to save Korsak's life.

Meanwhile, Rizzoli's family life is causing her stress. Her overbearing mother is always interfering in her personal life, and her younger brother is involved with a shady group of friends.

Despite the personal and professional challenges, Rizzoli and Isles are determined to catch the killer and deliver justice for the young victims. The case takes them to unexpected places and puts them in danger, but they never give up.
