Ep 4. Brown Eyed Girl

In "Brown Eyed Girl," the fourth episode of the second season of Rizzoli & Isles, the Boston Police Department homicide division is called to investigate the murder of a student at a prestigious all-girls prep school. The victim, a popular and well-liked teenager named Martha Dunbar, was found dead in the school's swimming pool.

Detective Jane Rizzoli (played by Angie Harmon) and medical examiner Dr. Maura Isles (played by Sasha Alexander) are quickly called to the scene of the crime. Upon arriving at the school, they discover that the case may be more complicated than it seems. The investigation leads them to uncover a web of secrets and lies, as well as a number of potential suspects with motive to kill Martha.

As Rizzoli and Isles begin to investigate, they discover that Martha was not as innocent as she may have seemed. Her cryptic diary entries point to a darker side of her personality, as well as a number of secrets that she was keeping from her friends and family.

The detectives also discover that Martha was in a relationship with a young man who may have been involved in her death. The boyfriend, a privileged young man with connections to some of Boston's most powerful families, becomes a suspect in the case.

Despite the abundance of suspects and potential leads, Rizzoli and Isles struggle to make progress in the case. The investigation is complicated by the fact that they are dealing with teenagers, many of whom may be willing to lie or withhold information to protect themselves or their friends.

Throughout the episode, Rizzoli and Isles must navigate the complexities of the case while also grappling with personal issues in their own lives. Rizzoli is struggling to balance her work with her personal life, including her relationship with FBI agent Gabriel Dean. Meanwhile, Isles is dealing with the aftermath of her own near-death experience, which has left her questioning her mortality and the choices she has made in her life.

As the investigation continues, Rizzoli and Isles must work together to solve the case and bring justice for Martha Dunbar. Amidst the twists and turns of the case, they also begin to unravel the mysteries of their own lives, and the bond between them grows ever stronger.
