Saber Marioneete R is an anime television series based off of the popular series of light novels and manga books created by Satoru Akahori. The plot of the series revolves around a post apocalyptic future wherein the entire female population of humans has gone extinct. To preserve the continuation of the species the men of the planet created female androids capable of reproduction. These units are known as Marionettes. One day a young man discovers a young and beautiful Marionette named Lime. The two become friends and the something more and it is only then that the young man realizes that she is a Saber Marionette, the only kind capable of emotion.
