Tari Tari centers around the lives of five Japanese high-school students, all of whom find themselves drawn toward participating in a small musical production. Though their reasons for joining or continuing to participate all differ, the ensemble cast does more than just demonstrate the power which music can have over the lives of various individuals. The show flirts with romantic relationships between the major and minor characters, while illustrating well internal struggles and external obstacles that teenagers must overcome in order to break free of adolescence. The show's story is a heartwarming coming-of-age tale, littered throughout with beautiful life lessons.
