Sailor Moon Sub Season 2 Episode 32 Dog Day For Artemis
- December 8, 1998
Usagi and her friends notice something strange going on when Artemis starts behaving differently than usual. The normally stoic and composed cat begins acting erratic and impulsive. Usagi tries to get to the bottom of the issue, but Artemis isn't forthcoming. Meanwhile, a number of dogs around the city start acting strange as well, attacking their owners and causing chaos. It's up to the Sailor Scouts to investigate what could be causing this odd behavior.
As they delve deeper into the mystery, it becomes clear that Artemis and the dogs' behavior are linked. The Scouts find themselves pursuing a mysterious villain who is somehow able to control animals using a strange device. But with Artemis under the villain's control, the Scouts find themselves at a disadvantage.
As they race to stop the villain's plan, they must also work to snap Artemis out of his trance and convince him to join their fight. The episode features plenty of high-stakes action, with the scouts battling against not only the villain's minions, but their own beloved pets as well. Through their courage and teamwork, however, they are able to save the day and foil the villain's plans.
Perhaps the most interesting aspect of the episode is the way it explores the relationship between humans and their animal companions. As the dogs turn on their owners, it raises questions about who is really in control. Are the animals victims, or are they just following their own instincts? In the case of Artemis, the episode raises interesting questions about the nature of loyalty and the impact that outside forces can have on our relationships.
For fans of the series, the episode is a satisfying continuation of the ongoing storylines and character arcs. It's a great showcase for the Scouts' unique powers and skills, and the episode includes plenty of humor and heart to balance out the action. Overall, "Dog Day For Artemis" is a standout episode in Sailor Moon's second season, and a must-watch for fans of the series.
