Tenjho Tenge is an anime television series that aired on TV Asahi in 2004. Directed by Toshifumi Kawase, the series is an adaptation of the manga series by Oh! great. The show follows the story of two students, Souichiro Nagi and Bob Makihara, who transfer to Toudou Academy - a school that is known for its strong martial arts department. The academy is divided into two factions known as the "Executive Council" and the "Juken Club". The students are ranked based on their fighting prowess, and the strongest student is known as the "Emperor".

Souichiro and Bob quickly find themselves at odds with the Executive Council when they attempt to take over the academy themselves. However, they soon realize that they have bitten off more than they can chew when they come face to face with the Juken Club - a group of skilled martial artists who are determined to defend their school and their way of life against all outsiders.

As the series progresses, Souichiro and Bob delve deeper into the world of the Juken Club, learning more about the inner workings of the school and the motivations of its various factions. Along the way, they encounter a cast of diverse characters that add depth and complexity to the story. These characters include Maya Natsume, a strong-willed member of the Juken Club and the school's official "Emperor"; Aya Natsume, Maya's younger sister and the Juken Club's treasurer; Masataka Takayanagi, a member of the Executive Council who has his own agenda; and Mitsuomi Takayanagi, Masataka's older brother and the true power behind the Executive Council.

The cast of Tenjho Tenge is brought to life by a talented group of voice actors. Shuichi Ikeda plays the role of Mitsuomi Takayanagi, bringing a sense of gravitas to the character. Isshin Chiba portrays Bob Makihara with a rough but lovable edge, while Haruhi Terada gives Maya Natsume a combination of strength and vulnerability. Shinichiro Miki takes on the role of Souichiro Nagi with a fiery intensity, while Kenta Miyake brings a sense of honor and duty to the character Masataka Takayanagi. Tomokazu Seki provides the voice for the enigmatic Souchiro Nagi, while Eiji Hanawa brings a sense of danger and intrigue to his portrayal of Nagi's rival, Mitsuomi Takayanagi.

The animation of Tenjho Tenge is stunning, with a mix of traditional hand-drawn animation and computer-generated effects. The fight scenes are especially impressive, with a fluidity and intensity that is rarely seen in anime. The music, composed by Yasunori Iwasaki, complements the action perfectly, adding a sense of drama and tension to the already thrilling battles.

Overall, Tenjho Tenge is an action-packed anime series that is not for the faint of heart. With its complex characters, intricate storylines, and breathtaking fight scenes, the series is sure to satisfy even the most hardcore anime fan.
