With the cannon now out of commission, the samurai believe that they have won the battle. However, they soon realize that the bandits have one more trick up their sleeve. They have built a smaller, handheld version of the steam cannon, which they use to attack the samurai.

The samurai are caught off-guard by the sudden attack, and they are unable to stop the bandits from firing the cannon. However, just as the cannon is about to hit its target, Kirara steps in and uses her water magic to deflect the projectile. Her actions save the samurai's lives, and the battle is won.
