The 16th episode of Saturday Night Live's 39th season features Jonah Hill as the host and the British band Bastille as the musical guest. This episode aired on March 5, 2014.

Jonah Hill was no stranger to SNL, having previously hosted twice before. This time around, he brought his comedic talents to a variety of sketches, ranging from the silly to the absurd. One of the standout sketches of the night was a send-up of The Wolf of Wall Street, in which Hill reprised his role as Donnie Azoff and poked fun at the excessive greed and excess of the film's characters.

Other sketches included a fake commercial for a "Her" parody called "Me," in which Hill falls in love with himself, and a fake advertisement for a prescription drug that "cures" racism. The latter sketch in particular drew both laughter and criticism, with some viewers accusing the show of trivializing a serious issue.

As for the musical guest, Bastille took to the SNL stage for the first time. The band performed their hit single "Pompeii" as well as their song "Oblivion." The group's synth-heavy sound and emotionally charged lyrics proved to be a hit with both the live audience and viewers at home.

Overall, this episode of SNL was a solid installment of the long-running sketch comedy series. Hill brought his signature energy and humor to the show, while Bastille delivered a pair of memorable musical performances.
