Scandal: A Shocking and Wrongful Incident Season 3 Episode 6 Icarus

In the sixth episode of Scandal's third season titled Icarus, Olivia's new client is a woman named Mary Nesbitt. Mary is the CEO of an aviation company called Nesbitt Avionics and was charged with murdering her fiancé. Throughout the episode, flashbacks are shown of the day that Olivia and Fitz's relationship was exposed to the public. The viewer sees how they tried to keep their affair a secret and the repercussions that came with it being exposed.

As the episode progresses, Olivia and her team discover that Mary's fiancé actually committed suicide and that Mary had nothing to do with his death. They are able to prove her innocence and get her charges dropped.

In the end, Olivia and Fitz share a brief moment together where they both acknowledge that they still have feelings for each other but cannot act on them. Cyrus is able to convince Sally to stay in the administration. And Mary is reunited with her daughter after being cleared of all charges.

Overall, Icarus is a thrilling episode full of political drama and personal struggle. It showcases the struggles that each character is dealing with and how they try to overcome them.
