Ep 7. The Candidate

In Schitt's Creek season 2 episode 7, titled "The Candidate," the Rose family finds themselves in the midst of a campaign for the upcoming town council election. Moira, who has been feeling restless and unfulfilled in her role as the town's councilwoman, decides to run for re-election. Meanwhile, David is recruited by the opposing candidate, Stevie's ex-boyfriend, to help with his campaign.

As the competition heats up, tensions rise between Moira and the rest of the family. Johnny and Roland join forces to try and secure Moira's victory, but things don't go as planned. Meanwhile, Alexis discovers a secret about the candidate that could potentially damage his election prospects.

Throughout the episode, the community is divided as they try to decide who to support in the election. The town hosts a debate for the candidates, which leads to some surprising revelations and plenty of laughs.

As the election draws near, the Rose family must learn to put their differences aside and work together to support Moira in her bid for re-election. With plenty of twists and turns along the way, this episode is full of surprises and showcases the hilarious antics that have made Schitt's Creek a fan favorite.
