Ep 8. Milk Money

When Moira finds out that the Jazzagals' annual fundraiser is being held to raise money for a milk bank, she sees an opportunity to revitalize her acting career by putting on a benefit performance. Meanwhile, Johnny takes Roland's advice and hires a consultant to help improve the hotel's customer service and Stevie spends the day helping David understand how to use his smartphone. As the day wears on, tensions rise as each character has to confront their own personal issues. Moira struggles to find the right material for her performance and Johnny frets over the cost of the consultant's services. David discovers that he can't live without his phone and Stevie learns the hard way that teaching someone how to text can be a frustrating experience.

As night falls, the fundraiser gets underway and Moira takes the stage to perform a dramatic reading. But when she realizes that her book choice isn't having the desired effect, she pivots and delivers a heartfelt speech about the importance of supporting new mothers. Her performance inspires the audience to donate generously, raising more money than they ever have before. Johnny, too, finds success when the consultant's suggestions pay off and they receive glowing feedback from a satisfied customer.
