Ep 19. Ticker

Scorpion season 2 episode 19, titled "Ticker," follows the team as they work to prevent a potentially catastrophic event in downtown Los Angeles. The episode opens with Walter and Sylvester trying to beat a video game, but their attention is quickly diverted when they receive a distress call from Cabe. He is at a construction site, where a man named Dale's pacemaker has been hacked, causing his heart rate to skyrocket.

As the team arrives at the site, they quickly realize that the situation is much more serious than they initially thought. Dale's pacemaker has been taken over by a hacker who is using it as a weapon. They learn that the hacker, who goes by the name "The Ghost," has a vendetta against the construction company for firing him and is using Dale's pacemaker to threaten the lives of the workers unless his demands are met.

With time running out, Team Scorpion must work quickly to find a way to stop The Ghost before he can harm anyone else. They soon discover that The Ghost is using a unique coding language that only a handful of people know, including Walter's estranged sister, Meghan, who is serving time in prison for computer crimes. Walter reluctantly reaches out to Meghan for help.

Meanwhile, Paige and Happy team up to help Dale, who is in critical condition. They work to build a makeshift pacemaker to help stabilize his heart rate so he can survive until they can get him to a hospital. Along the way, the two women bond over their shared experiences as mothers and partners to members of Team Scorpion.

As the team races against the clock to unravel The Ghost's plan, they realize that they are up against a complex and highly skilled opponent. The Ghost is able to stay one step ahead of them by anticipating their every move and countering their efforts. It becomes clear that they need to find a way to get inside of The Ghost's head in order to beat him.

In a pivotal moment, Walter discovers a hidden message within The Ghost's code that provides a clue to his true identity. With this information, the team is able to identify The Ghost's next target and prevent a disaster before it's too late.

In the end, Dale recovers from his injuries, and the construction company agrees to meet The Ghost's demands in exchange for his capture. Walter has a heart-to-heart with Meghan, and the two reconcile after years of estrangement. The episode concludes with the team regrouping and looking towards their next challenge.
