Ep 7. Episode 7

In episode 7 of Shameless season 7, the Gallagher family continues to deal with the aftermath of Monica's death and her final wishes. Fiona struggles with the responsibility of being the executor of Monica's will and deciding how to distribute her meager inheritance to her siblings. Meanwhile, Ian, struggling with his bipolar disorder, enrolls in a program for veterans and starts to confront some of the trauma he faced while serving in the military. Debbie, feeling left out of the family's grief and drama, decides to focus on her strict regimen of exercise and healthy eating.

In an attempt to earn some extra cash, Lip forms an alliance with Sierra's estranged husband, Charlie, and sets up an illegal meth lab in the basement of Patsy's Pies. However, things quickly spiral out of control when one of Lip's associates is caught by the police and he is forced to navigate the tricky waters of the criminal justice system without getting himself or his friends in even deeper trouble.

Meanwhile, Kev and V continue to act as surrogate parents to Svetlana's baby while she is in jail, but when she is released and demands full custody, they are forced to come up with a plan to keep the baby in their lives. Also, Carl falls deeper into the world of gang violence and drug dealing, but he begins to question whether he has what it takes to be a criminal mastermind.

Amidst all of this chaos and drama, the Gallagher family must band together and find a way to keep each other afloat in the face of overwhelming adversity. As always, the show balances its trademark dark humor with its heartfelt and emotionally resonant moments, resulting in yet another gripping episode of this powerful and provocative series.
