In Shameless season 8 episode 8, the Gallagher family is still reeling from the effects of Fiona finally getting her act together and selling the laundromat. Fiona herself is trying to enjoy her newfound success, but is met with hostility from both her siblings and her romantic interests.

Meanwhile, Frank is still dealing with the aftermath of his liver transplant and the side effects of his medication. He finds an unlikely ally in a fellow transplant patient named Mo White, who encourages him to indulge in drugs and alcohol.

Lip is struggling with his own addiction issues, and turns to his sponsor for support. He begins to realize the extent of his dependency and his inability to control it.

Debbie, now a certified welder, is eager to make more money and find a way to support her daughter. She lands a job at a construction site, but is met with sexism and harassment from her male coworkers.

Carl continues to navigate his relationship with Kassidi, who becomes increasingly possessive and controlling. He turns to his former military mentor for guidance, but finds himself drawn back into a life of crime.

And finally, Ian is dealing with the aftermath of his relationship with Trevor. He struggles with his own identity and is unsure of his place within the LGBTQ+ community.

As always, the Gallagher family faces challenges and obstacles, but they continue to persevere through their unbreakable bond and unwavering determination.
