A young woman is electrocuted by her twin brother's robot. The investigation leads Tessa and Steve into a bizarre tangle of relationships. They realise everyone had a motive to kill the woman who was generally not well-liked. A strange symbol drawn in a book provides the key to a small fortune and the identity of the killer surprises even the detectives.
