Tea is the second episode of the first season of the British television drama, Skins. The episode aired on January 31, 2007, on E4 and was written by Bryan Elsley and directed by Paul Gay.

The episode centers around the character of Tea, played by Larissa Wilson. Tea is a lesbian who struggles with her sexuality and the pressures put on her by her family and friends. The episode follows Tea as she tries to come to terms with her feelings and the reaction of those around her.

The episode begins with Tea and her best friend, Michelle (played by April Pearson), getting ready for a party. Michelle tries to convince Tea to wear a dress, but Tea refuses, telling Michelle that she doesn't want to attract the wrong kind of attention. At the party, Tea meets Tony (played by Nicholas Hoult), who tries to hit on her. Tea is not interested and tells him that she is a lesbian. Tony is amused by this and decides to play a joke on Tea by telling everyone at the party that she is straight.

This leads to Tea being harassed by several guys at the party, and she feels like she has lost control of the situation. She leaves the party with Michelle and the two of them go to a club. At the club, Tea meets a girl named Betty (played by Kathryn Prescott) and the two of them hit it off. Tea is hesitant at first, but she eventually agrees to go back to Betty's place.

The next morning, Tea wakes up to find that Betty has left. She also learns that Michelle has left her at the club and gone home with Tony. Tea is angry with Michelle for leaving her, and the two of them have a falling out.

Tea then goes to her grandmother's house, where she confronts her about the way she treats Tea's mother. Tea's grandmother is dismissive of her concerns, telling her that she needs to grow up and stop being so sensitive. This conversation leads Tea to reflect on her own feelings and to realize that she needs to be true to herself, regardless of what others may think.

The episode ends with Tea and Betty meeting up again and Tea telling Betty that she is a lesbian. Betty is supportive and tells Tea that she is happy that she found the courage to be honest with herself.

Overall, Tea is a powerful episode that tackles issues of sexuality, family dynamics, and peer pressure. The episode does an excellent job of showing the struggles that Tea goes through and the impact that these struggles have on her relationships with those around her. The character of Tea is complex and well-rounded, and her journey towards self-acceptance is both emotional and compelling.
