Ep 10. Shimmer

In Smallville season 1 episode 10, titled "Shimmer," we are introduced to a new villain named Earl Jenkins, who has the ability to turn invisible. He uses this power to break into LuthorCorp and steal a dangerous piece of technology.

Meanwhile, Clark struggles with his relationship with Lana after he discovers that she has started dating Whitney. He also has a confrontation with his friend, Pete, who has been selling test answers and has been caught by the school principal.

As Clark tries to balance his personal life with his superhero duties, Lex Luthor tries to figure out who is responsible for the theft at LuthorCorp. He hires a private investigator, Jodi Melville, who starts to suspect that Clark and his friends might be involved.

In order to stop Earl Jenkins from causing more damage, Clark must use his powers to track him down and stop him. But as he does so, he realizes that Earl has a tragic past that has led him down this path.

As the episode comes to a close, Clark realizes that he needs to let go of his feelings for Lana and move on, while Lex continues to investigate the mysterious theft at LuthorCorp, setting the stage for future episodes.
