Ep 5. Academy Week #1

Academy Week #1 is the fifth episode of the 15th season of the hit dance competition show, So You Think You Can Dance. This episode marks the beginning of the academy rounds, where the top 70 dancers from the auditions will compete for a spot in the coveted top 20.

The episode opens with the dancers arriving at the academy and meeting the judges, Nigel Lythgoe, Mary Murphy, and Vanessa Hudgens. The judges explain the format of the week: the dancers will be split up into two groups and will have to learn and perform two routines in just 24 hours.
