Ep 4. Sally In The Ally

In Southland season 1 episode 4, Sally In The Ally, the police department is tasked with investigating a case of a murdered woman whose body was found in an alley. Back on the case, Lydia and Russell are getting closer to tracking down the suspect and they come across a man who matches the description given by Sally. They pursue him on foot and a tense chase ensues. The suspect is ultimately apprehended, but not before he pulls a gun on the officers.

As the episode comes to a close, Lydia and Russell reflect on their investigation and the challenges they faced. They also realize that Sally was much more involved in the murder than they initially thought, and they are left with many questions about the case.
