Watch Starving in Suburbia

Starving in Suburbia is a movie about a young teen girl who has a upper-middle class family living in the suburbs. The seventeen year old is a dancer and is overall a good daughter-smart, active, and dedicated. However one day, she joins a website for some "thinspiration" and finds the glorification of thin bodies to be overwhelming. Soon, she finds herself becoming obsessed with being thin and begins to starve herself to fit this idolized image. The world of anorexia takes her to some very dark places affecting her school, relationship with family and friends, and her health.
