Street Outlaws: Fastest in America Season 1 Episode 2 David Meet Goliath

In the second episode of Street Outlaws: Fastest in America's first season, titled "David Meet Goliath," viewers get to watch as the teams from four of the most respected hot rod cities in the United States converge on a track in Memphis, Tennessee. The teams hail from Memphis, Tennessee; Detroit, Michigan; St. Louis, Missouri; and NOLA, Louisiana, and each brings with them a car that they believe can take home the prize for their team.

The episode begins with the teams arriving in Memphis and beginning to prepare their cars for the race. The Memphis team, led by JJ Da Boss, is clearly the hometown favorite, with a large and passionate crowd gathered to cheer them on. Their car, a 1961 Chevy Impala, is nicknamed "Ole Heavy" and is run by a nitrous-boosted big block engine. It's clear that JJ and his team are feeling the pressure to perform well in front of their fans.

The other teams are clearly not intimidated by the Memphis crew, however. The Detroit team, led by Chucky Davis, is rolling up with a 1989 Mustang called "Little Evil." This car is powered by an LSX engine with a massive 98-mm turbocharger, and the team is confident that it will be able to take down the competition.

The St. Louis team, led by David Bird Jones, is rolling out a 1969 Mustang they call "The Ghost." This car is well-known in hot rod circles for its impressive performance, and it's clear that David and his team are confident in their ability to win.

Finally, we have the NOLA team, led by Kye Kelley. They have brought with them the "Shocker," a 1989 Camaro that is powered by a nitrous-injected small block engine. Kye and his team are known for their precise attention to detail when it comes to tuning their car, and it's clear that they are feeling confident as well.

As the teams begin to make their practice runs, it's clear that the Memphis team is struggling a bit. Ole Heavy is having some trouble with traction, and the team is having a hard time getting the car to launch cleanly. Meanwhile, the other teams are putting up some impressive times, with Little Evil and The Ghost in particular standing out as potential threats to the Memphis team.

As the race itself gets underway, it's clear that tensions are running high. The cars line up side-by-side on the track, and the drivers psych themselves up for what is sure to be a high-stakes race.
