Super Fun Night is a television sitcom which follows three best friends who break their usual Friday night routine to try and find romance and adventure in the big city. The rest of the episode follows Lucinda as she navigates her newfound offline social life. Initially, Lucinda feels lost and out of her element, struggling to connect with her coworkers and unable to attend parties because she has no one to go with. Kimmie, Marika, and Helen try to help by inviting her to their usual Friday night hangout, but it doesn't go according to plan when they accidentally run into Derek, the guy from Lucinda's bad date.

As the week goes on, Lucinda slowly begins to open up and build connections with the people around her. She bonds with her boss, who helps her realize that she has more in common with her coworkers than she originally thought. She also reconnects with her ex-boyfriend, who she originally met through a dating app, and they discover they still have a meaningful connection despite their rocky past.
