LLENN is devastated by the loss of her new friend, and her confidence in the game starts to shake. She decides to leave GGO, but before she does, she receives a message from Pito in the game, saying that she's glad to have met LLENN and that they should meet up again. This message inspires LLENN to continue playing the game, and she sets a new goal for herself; to become powerful enough to protect her friends.
Throughout the episode, we see LLENN's character evolve from an introverted and insecure girl to a confident and determined player. She is no longer just playing the game to escape her real-life insecurities - she has found a purpose to play and is motivated to become stronger.
