Ep 6. SAO Loser

Kirito and Sinon, two popular players of GGO, face off in the Bullet of Bullets tournament. The final match begins and the two veterans battle with their respective talents. Sinon launches grenades and cloak herself, while Kirito uses his exceptional sword skills to slice Sinon's shots in half. However, the greatest strengths of the two players seem to not work as well when used against one another.

As Sinon attempts to attack Kirito with her PGM Ultima Ratio Hecate II, she realizes he had used his AmuSphere NerveGear to become immune to all types of bullets. With this realization, Sinon deduces that Kirito had actually won the previous tournament through similar deceit.

The two players continue their battle, each using their favorite equipment and strategies in heated exchanges. Meanwhile, in the spectator area, Pito, one of GGO's top female players, quietly observes the fight between Kirito and Sinon with a sense of excitement.

As the match heads towards its climax, the two players find themselves in each other's range. In a decisive moment, Kirito aims a point-blank shot at Sinon from a pistol he found on the battlefield. Sinon, taking a gamble, decides to fire a shot at the same moment. In a tense moment of anticipation, the two shots collide, leaving Sinon as the one on the ground and Kirito as the winner.

Following the final match, Sinon becomes discouraged, feeling like a "SAO Loser" who could not top the undefeated Kirito. However, as she becomes lost in her thoughts, she realizes that despite her temporary loss, she had pushed herself and found new strength in GGO.

Meanwhile, Kirito is contacted by Pito, who invites him to join her team, "Subtilizer." Kirito hesitates, not wanting to partner up with a stranger, but Pito insists and sends him an invitation to their next game.

As Kirito ponders her invitation, he suddenly finds himself in another world – one filled with strange lights, illusions, and symbols. The world seems to be linked to GGO, but its purpose and origin remain a mystery.

SAO Loser marks a turning point for Sinon and Kirito in GGO. With Kirito's victory, he cements his reputation as a virtually unbeatable player, while Sinon reflects on the true value of the game for her. The climax of the episode sets the stage for a new mystery and an intriguing invitation that leaves the audience with many questions to be answered in future episodes.
