Kirito continues to play Gun Gale Online, the game where a mysterious player known as Death Gun is rumored to have killed players in real life by shooting them in the game. Kirito believes Death Gun has the ability to kill players by targeting their real-life location through their in-game Avatar's information.

Kirito is approached by a player named Sinon, who is a skilled sniper. She initially mistakes him for a girl but soon learns his true gender. She agrees to help him in his investigation of Death Gun, but he must first win a tournament called the Bullet of Bullets.

Meanwhile, Asuna is faced with pressure from her mother to transfer to another school. Asuna's mother is concerned about her safety, having heard of the danger that came with her previous gaming experience. Asuna feels that her mother doesn't understand her and her desire to be with Kirito. She turns to her friend Rika for support, who reminds her that she needs to fight for what she wants.

Back in Gun Gale Online, Kirito must face off against a group of skilled players in the Bullet of Bullets tournament. If he wins, he will earn a meeting with Sinon in real life. Kirito makes it to the final round, where he faces off against Sinon herself. The two engage in a intense showdown, with Kirito eventually coming out on top.

After the tournament, Kirito meets with Sinon in real life. They discuss their plan to investigate Death Gun further and try to find a way to stop him. Kirito also shares with Sinon his own experience with death within a virtual world, and the trauma it caused him. Sinon reveals that she also has a similar experience, which helps to strengthen their bond.

The episode ends with Sinon confessing her fear of killing, both inside and outside of the virtual world. Kirito offers her words of comfort and encouragement, knowing what it is like to struggle with the consequences of virtual actions in real life. The two form a strong partnership as they continue their investigation of Death Gun.
