As the title suggests, in episode 4 of Tenchi Universe season 1, titled "No Need For Monsters!", there will be no monsters involved. The episode begins with Tenchi receiving a package from his grandfather, which contains a device, known as the TPHS (Tenchi Personal Holoscreen), that projects 3D holograms.
Tenchi and his friends decide to test the device out, and they use it to create a holographic beach scene. While they are enjoying themselves, they notice Sasami, the youngest member of the group, looking sad and unhappy. It is revealed that Sasami misses her home planet, and she is upset because she is unable to contact her family.
Tenchi and his friends realize they must do something to cheer up Sasami, so they decide to use the TPHS to create a holographic version of Sasami's home planet, Jurai. However, when they activate the device, they accidentally create an unstable portal that sucks them all into an alternate dimension.
Once they arrive in this new dimension, they discover a city that looks similar to ancient Rome, and the locals mistake them for sorcerers. The group tries to explain that they are not sorcerers, but the locals do not believe them.
As they explore the city, they come across a boy named Ken-Ohki, who claims to know a way to get them back to their own dimension. Ken-Ohki explains that they will need to find a rare mineral called "sands of time" and offer it to the local ruler, the Roman Emperor.
The group embarks on a mission to find the sands of time, and they encounter many obstacles along the way. One of the obstacles includes a dangerous asteroid field that they must navigate through while avoiding flying creatures that try to attack them.
After successfully obtaining the sands of time, they make their way back to the Roman Emperor, who is pleased with their offering and grants them passage back to their own dimension.
Once they return to their own dimension, Tenchi and his friends are relieved to be back home. Sasami is much happier now that she has been able to see a holographic version of her home planet, and the group is content knowing that they were able to help her.
Overall, episode 4 of Tenchi Universe season 1 is an adventure-filled episode that showcases the group's problem-solving skills and their dedication to help each other out. There are no monsters involved, but the episode is still entertaining and enjoyable to watch.
