After finding the museum, the teams are faced with a detour. The first option is called “Build” where teams have to build a bicycle from scratch using only the parts provided. The second option is called “Bail” where teams have to search for a specific spice in a crowded market and deliver it to a specific vendor. Most teams opt for the “Build” option, but a couple of teams decide to take on the “Bail” challenge.

Once the teams have completed the detour, they receive their next clue which directs them to drive themselves to a spice farm outside of Stone Town. Along the way, the teams struggle to navigate narrow streets and busy traffic, causing some teams to fall behind.

At the spice farm, the teams are presented with a roadblock challenge. One team member has to identify different spices and herbs blindfolded using only their sense of smell. This challenge proves to be difficult for some teams with a few members struggling to identify any of the spices correctly. However, a couple of teams manage to complete the challenge quickly and move on to the next task.

The teams are then directed to travel to a nearby village where they have to search for a pit stop. The pit stop for this episode is in a local family’s home where the teams get to interact with the family members and learn about their daily routines. Phil Keoghan, the show’s host, greets the teams at the pit stop and announces the winners of the leg.

Overall, the episode is filled with drama and suspense as the teams battle it out to complete the various challenges and make it to the pit stop.
