The British comedy TV series rose in the 1980s and showcases different alternative comedy acts. The comedians that are presented on the show are best known for their other show Comic Strip Presents. The Comic Strip is just a spin off of this show. Each episode consists of new skits that the comedians act in. Occasionally there are other celebrities that appear on the show, giving a guest appearance or cameo.
