Ep 19. I Was a Teenage Head Writer

Rob is feeling a bit intimidated lately at work because his colleague, Buddy, has been promoted to head writer. Feeling insecure about his new job, Buddy starts to suddenly act like the boss, giving orders and making changes to the scripts that Rob has written without even consulting him. Rob feels threatened and starts to worry about losing his job. Meanwhile, Laura encourages Rob to confront Buddy, but he is too afraid to do so. To prove to himself that he is still a talented writer and deserves his job, Rob takes up a challenging script, but fails to come up with an idea. In an attempt to help him, Laura tries to persuade Rob to relax and not be too hard on himself. But it is when Buddy takes credit for one of Rob's ideas during a meeting that he realizes he must take action. Finally, Rob confronts Buddy about his behavior and convinces him to collaborate with him on a script. This leads to a harmonious partnership where both writers contribute equally to the work. In the end, Rob gains his confidence back and feels more secure about his position at work.
