Ep 7. A Goldberg Thanksgiving

Beverly Goldberg is excited about hosting Thanksgiving dinner for her family, but her plans are met with resistance from her husband, Murray. He insists that they go out for Thanksgiving dinner instead of having a traditional family gathering. Beverly, however, is determined to have her way and convinces Murray to go along with her plans.

As they prepare for the big day, Beverly becomes increasingly stressed, trying to make everything perfect for her family. She enlists the help of her children, Erica and Barry, to assist with the cooking, but their lack of culinary skills only adds to her stress.

Meanwhile, Adam, the youngest Goldberg child, is excited about the special guest he has invited for Thanksgiving dinner. He has invited his grandfather, "Pops," to come and join in the festivities. However, the rest of the family is less than thrilled at the prospect of spending the day with Pops, who is known for his crass behavior and offensive comments.

As the day progresses, tensions rise and Beverly's perfect Thanksgiving starts to unravel. The food is not ready in time, the family argues, and worst of all, Pops shows up intoxicated and causes chaos. Beverly is devastated that her perfect day has turned into a disaster, and she takes out her frustrations on Murray.

Despite the chaos, the family eventually comes together to enjoy the meal and each other's company. As they sit around the table, they all share what they are grateful for, and for a moment, the chaos of the day is forgotten.

As the episode ends, the family is left with a newfound appreciation for one another and a deeper understanding of what Thanksgiving is truly about - not the perfect meal or the perfect day, but the people who share it with you.
