Ep 8. I Rode A Hoverboard!

Adam and his friends are obsessed with the new craze of hoverboards and Adam is determined to get one for himself. Beverly, however, is concerned about the safety risks and refuses to let him have one. Meanwhile, Barry struggles to come up with a romantic gesture for Lainey, but Erica intervenes and tries to help him out. Murray helps Adam build a robot designed to do his chores, but things go awry when the robot malfunctions. Also, Beverly and Virginia bond over their mutual love of the soap opera "Dynasty." The episode follows the Goldberg family as they navigate the ups and downs of adolescence and family life in the 1980s.
