Beverly Goldberg and her family are back with another enjoyable episode of The Goldbergs season 7. In this thirty-minute segment of the show, titled "Game Night," Beverley brings everyone together for a cozy night of fun and games at home. This script has the comfort of a bottle of mulled wine on a cold evening with the family.

Beverly Goldberg, played by Wendi McLendon-Covey, is a highly energetic housewife who enjoys solving problems that sometimes don't really exist. She's the glue that binds the family together, and she enjoys nothing more than bringing the family together for some fun and games. In this episode, Beverly attempts to organize a peaceful game night for her family.

Beverly's husband, Murray, played by Jeff Garlin, is a gruff, old-school patriarch who likes things to be simple. However, the cunning Beverly can sometimes draw him into her shenanigans. Murray is shown to be a highly competent reverse thinking person in his job, ensuring that nothing can go wrong in the furniture business.

Adam, played by Sean Giambrone, is Beverly's awkward teenage son who likes playing videogames. He's the narrator of the show, and he provides much of the episode's commentary. He's easily embarrassed but is always curious about the world around him.

Adam's sister, Erica, played by Hayley Orrantia, is lazy, cool, and cynical, resembling Beverly's personality. She has a knack for coming up with ideas that will get her out of work, making things even worse for everyone else.

Finally, there's Barry, played by Troy Gentile, who is the eldest sibling and the classic middle child. He's dramatic and doesn't take anything seriously until it's too late, similar to his father's personality.

The episode begins with Beverly assuming the role of the game master and organizing a game night with her family, with the winner receiving a coveted airline ticket to Paris. The family becomes competitive, as usual, leading to hilarious consequences.

In particular, Barry is his usual boisterous self, infuriating his brothers, and cheating at every opportunity. Adam, on the other hand, struggles with the game he's assigned and causes tension between the three siblings. Meanwhile, Erica realizes the prize may be her only chance at a Paris honeymoon with her fiancé before he leaves for Spain in a few weeks.

As the game night progresses, it becomes evident that Beverly is excellent at orchestrating game nights and keeping the game interesting. The Goldbergs always bring along their quirks, and this time around, the competitive streak came out in full force.

One of the more amusing aspects of the episode was Murray's attempts to get his wife to let him opt-out from playing the game night it was something he didn't want to take part in, but Beverly's persuasiveness always draws him in, given time.

Another highlight of the episode is the bonding between the siblings. The three siblings can be quite different from each other, but they come together during game night, uncovering similarities in their personalities and bonds of their youth.

As the episode moves on, tensions rise, and cheating becomes the norm. Eventually, the family discovers someone else has been cheating from the beginning, with Beverly proving herself to be the queen of deception.

"Game Night" is classic The Goldbergs, delivering off-kilter humor while maintaining heart-warming aspects of the family genre. The episode is packed with numerous laughs, and it's guaranteed to keep its audience smiling until the end of the episode.

Overall, "Game Night" is another entertaining addition to a comedy series that appears to have reached its stride in season seven. Fans of The Goldbergs will be satisfied, and newcomers can dive in and discover the antics of this exceptional family.
