Ep 12. Blind Date

The Golden Girls season 4 episode 12, titled "Blind Date," follows the four friends as they delve into the world of blind dates. Each of the women is set up on a date, and we get to see their nervous excitement and anticipation leading up to the big night.

First up is Blanche, who is set up with a man named Melvin. She is thrilled at the prospect of meeting someone new, but much to her disappointment, Melvin turns out to be a jingle writer who is obsessed with his work. Despite her initial disappointment, Blanche tries to make the best of the situation and ends up having a surprisingly fun night.

Next, it's Rose's turn. She is set up with Arnie Peterson, a former sailor who spends most of his time talking about his time at sea. While Rose finds his stories fascinating, she quickly realizes that they have very little in common and that Arnie is not the man for her.

Meanwhile, Dorothy is set up with a man named Arthur, who she initially dismisses as being too boring. However, as the night goes on, she realizes that she was too quick to judge and that Arthur is actually a very intelligent and interesting man. The two hit it off, much to the surprise of everyone.

Last but not least, Sophia is set up with a man named Alvin, who turns out to be her blind date from many years ago. The two reconnect and reminisce about old times, but Sophia eventually realizes that they are better off as friends than as romantic partners.

Throughout the episode, we get to see the women as they navigate the ups and downs of blind dates. Some of the dates are successful, while others are not, but all of the women learn something about themselves and what they are looking for in a partner.

As always, the episode is filled with witty banter and hilarious one-liners. The Golden Girls remains a timeless classic, and "Blind Date" is a great example of why the show continues to be beloved by audiences today.
