Ep 5. What We Owe to Each Other

Eleanor is still trying to come to terms with the fact that she doesn't belong in the Good Place, but refuses to give up her spot in paradise. In this episode, titled "What We Owe to Each Other," she tries to improve her behavior and attitude towards others in an effort to convince everyone (and herself) that she deserves to be there.

Meanwhile, Chidi is struggling with the realization that he can't make everyone happy all the time. As a moral philosophy professor, he feels responsible for guiding Eleanor and his other classmates towards ethical behavior, but finds it increasingly difficult to do so.

As usual, there are plenty of laughs along the way, but "What We Owe to Each Other" is a more contemplative episode that explores the complexities of morality and human relationships. The characters are forced to confront their own flaws and shortcomings, and learn that true goodness is a journey rather than a destination.
