Whoopi Goldberg, Jamie Dornan, Rosamund Pike, Harry Connick Jr., and the Korean boyband BTS joined Graham Norton on his show for a fun-filled episode that promised a delightful mix of chatter, anecdotes, and music. As ever, the show's guests were eclectic and diverse, ensuring an evening of great entertainment.

The episode kicked off with a chat with Whoopi Goldberg, who discussed her recent West End show, where she played a gender-fluid version of Professor Plum in the interactive play Cluedo. Whoopi talked about how much she loved being in London and performing in the show, which she described as being 'like theatre meets escape room.'

Next up was Jamie Dornan, whose new film Synchronic recently premiered at the Sundance Film Festival. Jamie revealed that he'd been filming a new series in Belfast with Gillian Anderson called The Fall, and that he was excited to be debuting a new accent for the show. He also revealed that his upcoming film Barb and Star Go to Vista Del Mar was full-on comedy and that audiences shouldn't expect too much of a serious spy thriller from it!

The third guest was Rosamund Pike, whose new film I Care a Lot centers on a legal guardian who exploits vulnerable elderly people. Rosamund spoke about how much she enjoyed playing a character who was so unapologetically villainous, and how she relished the chance to do something completely different. She also spoke about her first meeting with Megxit offender Prince Harry, who she described as 'attractive, warm, and engaging.'

Harry Connick Jr. then joined the sofa to discuss his new album Alone with My Faith, which he recorded in his basement during the pandemic. Harry talked about how much he missed performing in front of audiences, but how the enforced lockdown had given him a chance to reconnect with his faith and his base instincts as a musician. He also revealed that he had written a new song called 'Stars Still Shine' inspired by his two daughters, and that he couldn't wait for them to hear it.

The final guest was the Korean boyband BTS, who were on the show to promote their new single 'Life Goes On.' The band spoke via video link, and fans were treated to a mini-performance of the song, which had a real melancholy feel to it. The band spoke about how they wanted to convey a message of hope in the song and how, despite all the challenges of the past year, they were determined to keep going.

The show ended with a bit of fun, with the guests participating in a game called 'What's My Line?,' where they had to guess each other's jobs by asking them questions. The game was hilarious, with Harry Connick Jr. doing particularly well at guessing what the others did for a living!

The Graham Norton Show season 24 episode 3 was full of variety, humor, and music, with a diverse range of guests providing a lively discussion that covered everything from acting to music to comedy. Graham Norton's effortless ability to draw out the best in his guests ensured that the show delivered on its promise of being a fun and entertaining evening of television.
