Ep 4. Crazy In Love

As much as friendships in The Hills were built to last, there are always moments of tension when emotions run high. In Season 5 Episode 4, Crazy In Love, viewers are taken through an episode full of intense emotions and heated arguments.

The episode starts off with Kristin Cavallari continuing to stir the pot between Brody Jenner and his then-girlfriend, Jayde Nicole. Kristin sets up a dinner at Beso, a popular restaurant in Hollywood, and invites both Brody and Jayde. However, things quickly turn sour when Kristin invites one of Jayde's ex-boyfriends, Nick, to the dinner as well. Jayde becomes infuriated and storms out of the restaurant, leaving Brody and Kristin to enjoy the rest of their meal together.

Meanwhile, Spencer and Heidi Pratt are trying to work on their relationship after a tumultuous beginning to their marriage. Spencer buys Heidi a new engagement ring to replace the one she threw away, and they decide to have a second wedding ceremony to renew their vows. However, Heidi is still hesitant about trusting Spencer after everything he has put her through in the past.

Audrina Patridge also deals with relationship issues in this episode. She officially ends things with her long-time boyfriend, Justin Bobby, after discovering that he has been seeing another girl behind her back. This conclusion to their on-again, off-again relationship leaves Audrina feeling hurt and betrayed.

As the episode continues, tensions come to a head between Kristin and Jayde when they attend an event together. The two exchange harsh words and nearly come to blows. Meanwhile, Stephanie Pratt gets involved with the drama when she unknowingly accuses Kristin of stealing a dress that she lent her. This accusation leads to another heated argument between the two friends.

Throughout the episode, viewers also witness the formation of new relationships. Lo Bosworth meets a new guy named Scott and spends the day with him at the beach. Meanwhile, Holly Montag goes on a date with a guy she met at her new job, and Heidi's sister, Stephanie, starts seeing a guy named Josh following her break-up with Cameron.
