In The Holzer Files season 1 episode 2, titled "They Buried Me Alive," the team investigates a haunted mansion in Redding Ridge, Connecticut. This mansion, known as the Davidson House, was home to a wealthy family who reportedly practiced the occult.
Upon arriving, the team discovers that the current owner of the mansion, Aaron, has been experiencing unexplained activity in his home. It is believed that the spirits of the former occupants are responsible for the ongoing paranormal events.
The team, consisting of investigator Dave Schrader, psychic medium Cindy Kaza, and researcher Shane Pittman, begins their investigation by exploring the main floor of the mansion. Using various pieces of equipment, they attempt to capture any evidence of the paranormal activity.
As they make their way through the mansion, the team discovers a secret room hidden behind a bookshelf. Inside, they find evidence that confirms the rumors about the former occupants' involvement in the occult.
The team decides to conduct a seance in the secret room in an attempt to communicate with any spirits present. During the seance, Cindy channels the spirit of a woman who reveals that she was buried alive on the property.
The team is shocked by this revelation and decides to focus their investigation on finding evidence of this woman's existence. They discover old newspaper articles that confirm the story of a woman who was buried alive on the property in the early 1900s.
The team also discovers a hidden graveyard on the property, which they believe is the final resting place of the woman who was buried alive. They conduct an EVP session and capture a Class A EVP, which seems to confirm their suspicions.
Throughout the investigation, the team experiences various unexplained phenomena, including mysterious footsteps, cold spots, and the feeling of being watched by an unseen presence.
In the end, the team concludes that the Davidson House is indeed haunted by the spirits of its former occupants. They provide Aaron with evidence of their findings and recommend that he seek professional help in dealing with the ongoing paranormal activity in his home.
