Totally cut off from the rest of the world, three individuals spend five days investigating, capturing and documenting alleged paranormal activity in remote, desolate areas. The audience witnesses the threesome driving to, and arriving at their unknown destination. They will not know where they are headed, but they know to be prepared for anything. Stranded is unlike any other paranormal show out here today because there are no camera crews following them around. So, the evidence that they obtain will be the real deal, and more than likely the evidence will not be contaminated by other parties. The group of three usually arrive at the remote location at night. The locations are reportedly very haunted with numerous stories to back up paranormal claims. Locations can be a haunted prison, an abandoned mansion, or a very old hotel. When they arrive, they will find all of the paranormal catching equipment they will need for the five days. When the three walk in, they must read about the history of that location and what event led to the hauntings that have been reported. The lights usually don't work in these locations because the places are so old and run down. But in order to find out if the lights work or not, they must go and investigate locations, like the basement. While trying to find the fuse box or the hot water heater, the group must also do electronic voice phenomena sessions (EVP) or the ghost box to try and make contact with whom ever might be haunting the grounds. Each room has a video recorder in it, so evidence can be captured while they are sleeping. The last night that they are there is usually the most active time of the entire show. They must investigate each room thoroughly with the equipment that they were given. They may investigate by themselves or as a group. They may provoke the spirits or they may put out trigger objects so the spirits will interact with them. There is no limit on how far they will go just to get a reaction from the other side. On the last day, the individuals share with us if their views about the paranormal have changed since the start of the investigation.
