The town is in crisis with the discovery of toxic water coming down from MSR. Anna is questioned by Fergus and Dutch after her fingerprint is discovered in evidence relating to the crime scene. Anna is desperate to find Doctor McKenzie and visits McKenzie's lab and finds some information on blood anomalies that McKenzie was calling Anna about before she disappeared. Anna decides to test her own blood and makes a chilling discovery. Meanwhile, Dutch notices Anna's car unlocked outside the police station. In the trunk he finds a bloody sheet with a weapon inside...
