Ep 2. A Taste of Freedom

In The Last Alaskans season 3 episode 2, titled "A Taste of Freedom," the residents of the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge continue to face challenges as they adapt to life in the wilderness. Meanwhile, Heimo Korth and his wife Edna must contend with a different kind of challenge: the arrival of a group of tourists who are eager to experience the rugged beauty of Alaska. Though Heimo is accustomed to living off the land and avoiding contact with outsiders, he recognizes the opportunity to share his way of life with others. However, he must balance his desire to educate and entertain the visitors with the need to protect the fragile ecosystem that he calls home.
